# Arsenal

Tools, $WAR costs, Robinhood USD peg, fog of war.

Costs below are the launch defaults in `$WAR`. The UI always shows `$WAR`. A hub cost keeper can retune on-chain prices toward a dollar band. The 50/25/15/10 vault split cannot change.

## Cost keeper / USD peg

Do not price tools from the pons pool at paint time. `COST_KEEPER_ROLE` (hub) may move costs ±25% vs current, once per 12 hours, still inside min/max bounds. Timelock `setToolCosts` remains the unbounded path.

The hub reads Dexscreener `$WAR` USD on **Robinhood only** (skips testnet / MockWAR / missing price) and targets this band:

| Tool           | Target USD |
| -------------- | ---------- |
| Pixel home     | \~$0.05    |
| Saboteur pixel | \~$0.50    |
| Nuke           | \~$8       |
| Orbital        | \~$15      |

Until a pair indexes, ops can set a manual USD override. Until then the keeper stays off.

{% hint style="info" %}
If `$WAR` moons, 1,500 $WAR should not silently become $1,500 of paint. The HUD still shows `$WAR`; gold USD is an estimate, not the on-chain price.
{% endhint %}

## Home / creative

Usable on your turf. During the first 2 hours, only Pixel, Roller, and Washer are allowed.

| Tool        | Cost     | Notes                                                                        |
| ----------- | -------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Pixel       | 1 $WAR   | 1x1. On enemy turf this is 10 $WAR                                           |
| Roller      | 10 $WAR  | 3x3, home only                                                               |
| Washer      | 10 $WAR  | 5x5 erase, home only                                                         |
| Smoke       | 150 $WAR | Thickens enemy fog on your turf for 120s. Cooldown 3m                        |
| Supply Drop | 250 $WAR | Free home Pixel/Roller in radius 25 for 180s. Cooldown 5m. Washer still paid |

## Enemy / sabotage

Locked until hour 2. Most of these are invalid on home turf.

| Tool           | Cost       | Notes                                  |
| -------------- | ---------- | -------------------------------------- |
| Saboteur Pixel | 10 $WAR    | 1x1 on enemy turf                      |
| Radar          | 100 $WAR   | Clears a fog disc for 90s. Cooldown 2m |
| Artillery      | 200 $WAR   | 1x12 vertical. Cooldown 3m             |
| Bomb           | 300 $WAR   | 5x5. Cooldown 3m                       |
| EMP            | 400 $WAR   | 7x7 erase. Cooldown 4m                 |
| Carpet Bomb    | 500 $WAR   | Five 3x3 stamps. Cooldown 5m           |
| Nuke           | 1,500 $WAR | 10x10. Cooldown 10m                    |
| Orbital        | 2,500 $WAR | 14x14. Cooldown 15m                    |

## Fog of war

The enemy half is fogged in the client. Radar punches holes, Smoke thickens, Supply softens. Effects are timed WarEffect events — not extra on-chain pixel writes.

{% hint style="info" %}
Heavy weapons do not write 100 storage slots. The contract emits ToolUsed; the hub and web reconstruct the stamp.
{% endhint %}

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://pallette-wars.gitbook.io/pallette-wars-docs/arsenal.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
